Year 4 we 30th November

Hi All,

Everest has been surveyed by Colonel Geprge Everest,Mallory has been discovered, but mystery still surrounds George Mallory!

Next week we will be continuing our topic on explanatory texts and instructions.  The children will be linking this work to their science.  A great song we learnt about the cycle is in the link below.

In maths, the children will be working subtraction of larger 3 or 4 digit numbers and using formal methods for this.

In the afternoons we will be continuing our work on mountains – the children will be continuing with their models.    We will also continue our science topic for this term, which is ‘states of matter’.  This week we will be exploring the way particles behave in the different states.  We will be rehearsing the carols and our part of the Christmas carol service this week again.   As well as computing and French as well.

See dates at the bottom – there is a lot coming up before Christmas.
