Week ending 5th October 2018

This week the children told me what they have enjoyed

On Monday we started doning writing on white boards in Phonics - we have been learning how to correctly form l,i,j,c,o,h,n,t and v The children have loved this activity sitting for over half an hour

Our writing activity this week as been about spotting Autumn features and writing down the sound they start with: hedgehog, leaves, rake

We loved the visit of the two hegdgogs which Mrs Woods brought in from Lower Moss Wood The children were so quiet and allowed the hedghog to sniff and miss around their feet as they sat in a circle

In maths we have now finished listening to the number stories from 0 to 10

We are also working on matching numbers to items

We always enjoy bike Friday and need to sand timer to ensure good sharing
