Year 1 14th September

What a wonderful first full week we have had together!! Everyone has worked very hard and been enthusiastic about their learning- which is gret to see.

The children have enjoyed:

• Singing lots of nursery rhymes,alphabet and number songs.
• Doing their first handwriting lesson (what super effort from the whole class!)
• Sorting objects and explaining their groupings in Maths.
• Writing about and designing stick objects in English, but most of all making them in DT.
• Mixing paint in Art.
• Team games in PE.

We have 14 marbles...

First lot of homework is being sent out today along with sound cards to practise each night.
