Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 15th December 2023

Y6 – Friday 15th December 2023 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

Our penultimate week has seen a right mix of activities.  We have completed a double-paged spread about our crew members for English; tackled many different metric measures for maths; enjoyed selecting our top 10 facts for geography; visited the Christmas shop (but we can’t tell you what we bought); enjoyed reading “The Whisperer” as part of our ‘No Outsiders’ learning; completed some pre-planning for science; made Christmas cards for RE; honed our singing skills with our carol service practice; and – of course – completed the “Elf Run” with our buddies – we all looked super-cute in our elf-hats!

Our most lovely time of the week was welcoming our super-friend, Z, who is back with us for the Christmas holidays.  It was just wonderful to see how excited the class was to see our wonderful friend just slip back into friendships and smiles.  We are looking forward to spending some more time with Z this week.n
