Year 2 13th July

We have had a fantastic day working with Year 3 to make castles with a wind up drawbridge. There were great ideas, excellent team work and sharing. 

Another highlight has been discovering a dragon egg. A very exciting moment! We have been thinking about how to look after it if it hatches. We want to make the mummy dragon happy!

We have been measuring length, mass and temperature in maths. It has lead to some interesting discussions!

Mad Science visited this week and we learned about rockets - a super assembly to remember. We also had a visit from Mrs Hamilton who talked to us about visiting Elizabethfontein school in South Africa.

Golden Time will be on Monday afternoon. Well done Year 2!
