Year 4 we 27th April

Well, summer was nice while it lasted, on to autumn now judging by the weather.  It didn't stop us having a super week beginning with a PE lesson with Mr Capewell from Holmes Chapel who taught us all some cricket skills.  On Tuesday, this was followed by cheerleading with Miss Oakes from Premier Sports - I was very impressed with the children's routines!  Our string telephones worked well and we've learnt a great deal about latitude and longitude.

Thank you for coming to my York meeting - I hope you have all the information you need and thank you for returning the information forms too.  Not long now!

Next week we will be continuing our explanation writing and looking at decimals in maths.  We will continue our work on sound and we will look at the location of York. We also have an extra Premier Sports lesson on Friday to practise athletics skills for Sports Day.

Please remember to see me on Thursday - ideally before school  - if your child will need medication while we are away.

Have a great weekend!
