Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 12th May 2023

Y6 – Friday 12th May 2023 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

What an amazing week – our Year 6 have surpassed our expectations and have completed their national assessments for the end of key stage 2 – their SATs.  They have just been amazing with their calm and mature attitude and they have tackled each test with a really super attitude.  The tests are statutory and there has been much debate in the news this week, but our class has been sensible and has not been flustered or affected in any of the ways reported.

We now look forward to completing our last few weeks in Year 6 and on Monday, we return to our normal maths and English lessons for the morning and the pupils will continue with their varied afternoons too.  Of course, we have the swimming to look forward to – please double check emails for further information.

There may be lots of information coming home in the next few weeks about various projects, visits, transition, etc. so please ensure that you keep up-to-date with emails, texts and our class page.  Thank you
