Friday 15th March Year 2 Looking back and Forth

Friday 15th March 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

It’s been another week where we’ve had lots of fun learning and working hard together. We have written a full story called Oliver and Patch – these will be on display in Year 2 soon. In Maths the children have solved problems with multiplication and in Science we learned about food chains. We have also enjoyed reading time and continued learning about Florence Nightingale. It’s been a great week Year 2.

Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:

  • “Spending time together.”
  • “It was fun writing my Oliver and Patch story.”
  • “I like doing division”
  • “I liked being a school councillor and choosing them in a fair way”
  • “I liked helping in Assembly”

Family discussion questions:

  • Can I tell you the story of Oliver and Patch?
  • What is a “producer” in a food chain?

Looking forward:

  • Letter writing
  • Times tables quiz
  • Outdoor PE
  • Judaism
