Reception class update Friday 12th December

Hello

Goodness the excitment in class is high as the countdown to the end of term draws closer and that's just the staff!

We have had another busy week - I feel I say that every week - as we are kept on our toes and there is always plenty to do. We work and play hard and enjoy every minute of our ever adapting environment.

This week we have continued with phonics and writing and between rehearsals we have squeezed in some maths and craft. 

The children enjoyed the set up at lunchtime today as I laid out the tables to make one long banquet table for them all to sit at. This proved very popular. 

Next week we have the much awaited performances. The children will be on the main stage with the Year 2 actors on the lower stage below them. You should hopefully get a good view of your child. 

On Friday they will have an extended buddy time and will ahve to opportunity to exchange an end of term gift.
