Reception class update Friday 27th June

Hi all

Another week under our belts as we head towards Year 1. The children have worked hard on writing captions this week in the art books and next week we are writing about our favourite memories in Reception. 

The children will start going into Year 1 in small groups over the next two weeks to do some tasks with Mrs Carew. 

In maths we have worked on doubling numbers and next week we will focus on halving. We will also do some problem solving sums.

In art they began to make their gift for their mums and will complete them next Wednesday. They have also drawn a self portrait in their art books and I ahve made copies which will come home in their reports folder. 

I look forward to seeing the children in Rose Day tomorrow.
