w/e 12.1.18 Y3

Things we have enjoyed this week:

• I enjoyed creating my heroine/hero for my myth and legend tale!

• I liked investigating all the different places in school that I could imagine might be part of my myth setting.

• PE – learning how to do a forward roll, I was successful! And beginning to achieve a cartwheel (it was really hard).

• I liked our new 5 minutes a day of reading, both first thing in the morning and immediately after lunch. I feel it is a calm way to start my learning.

• I liked designing my beast, the game of consequences with my partner was really fun, I didn’t know how the imaginary beast was going to turn out! It was funny and dramatic.

• I liked doing the new subtraction technique. I liked it because I wasn’t wrong at all and the number line made it seem really easy too.
