we 20th July Year 1

Hi All,

My goodness it is the end of the year.  It is hard to believe that this is the end of the year with Year 1.  The ‘Best Year Ones On The Planet’ have had a very busy year.

We have loved our time with the class, they have worked hard, learnt new skills and are ready to ‘wow’ Mrs Freeman with their superness!

This terrific bunch have worked their socks off, shown us their creativity, sat engrossed in stories, and have been very kind to giggle at very bad teacher jokes.

These Amazing Small Human Beings can;

Use alliteration and ellipsis in context,

Navigate around the British Isles and know features from all the countries,

Create self-portraits and create faces from food!

Weave wonderful pictures,

Be very convincing pirates!

Hang on your every word when you read a story,

Tell you all about the seasons,

Sing songs with GUSTO!

Make very tasty rainbow kebabs,

Plant sweetcorn that grows!

Create megastructures out of sticks and elastic bands,

Create wonderful pebble fish,

Recall their friends of ten,

Love their P.E. sessions,

Problem solve in maths and reason it out like the best of them!

Remember the whole of the papaya story with actions,

Pond dip and create masterpiece ice creams with their grandparents,

Be a truly magical class.

Thank you for all your support parents for;

Reading with your bunnies,

Creating wonderful homework projects,

Helping us out on trips and

Supporting  us with the Exhibition and Transition week.

Have a wonderful summer – see you all in September!
