Week Ending 3rd February - Year 3

Thank you for another lovely week, Year 3.

We thoroughly enjoyed making pizzas on Monday as part of our topic work. I hope that you enjoyed eating them as well! Thank you to everyone for remembering ingredients and putting in so much effort.

We've also had a fun week in Science, looking at the skeleton and the names of bones. Our scientific names treasure hunt was a fantastic way to end a Thursday, after our lovely book club session.

This week brings lost more fun, with more Roman Myths in English, graph reading in Maths, muscles in Science, more food in Topic and lots more!

For our topic lesson on Thursday, if possible it would be good for the children to bring in a flat sheet (preferably white) and a belt, as we start to explore how the Romans dressed.

Please note that there were no spellings handed out this week, but there will be a test focussing on the days of the week and months of the year again on Friday. This is to support the spelling of these highly important words, as well as to allow children the time to spend on their topic project homework which was sent out last week.

We will also need our PE kits on Tuesday for our Gymnastics session, as well as Wednesday when we will be exploring our Science in a rather interactive way.

Thank you again for all the hard work this week Year 3!  Keep it up!
