Y3 Looking Back and Forth 3/12/21

Friday 3rd December 2021 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 3

Looking back:

We have outdone ourselves this week in Class 3 as we have completed our story of Jemmy Button’s adventures and what adventures they have been. We have gone to town with our column addition and subtraction in maths and with more practise, this will be our method to rely on from this week onwards. We have completed our well-researched extended writing in History all about the Egyptians and their importance to the development of the continent of Africa and in Geography, have battled our way through our computing work with lots of trial and error. PE was another triumph learning to control our jumps on the vault and in Re, we recalled our knowledge about the Bible and found out more. Our singing has rung out throughout this week as we have worked towards the finishing touches to our Christmas Carols Evening and all of this has been intermingled with our reading and quizzes, arithmetic, spellings and timetables challenges. Well done Class 3 for being su-purb!!!
