Y4 Looking Back and Forth - Friday 27th February 2026

🔙 Looking Back – This Week in Year 4

The children have settled back in brilliantly and are already getting very excited about the residential to Delamere, Foxhowl. Both Mrs B. and I have spent time exploring information about the centre and answering as many questions as possible with the class.

In English this week, we have begun a new book called Whale. We are still trying to puzzle out what the story is about and are eagerly awaiting the big reveal next week.

In maths, we have been focusing on division — particularly those tricky calculations with remainders. The class have shown fantastic resilience, sticking with their work even when they found it challenging. It has been wonderful to see everyone so focused and using their multiplication skills to such a high standard.
