Y4 Looking Back and Forth - Friday 6th February 2026

πŸ”™ Looking Back – This Week in Year 4

This week, the class stepped into the role of official biographers for one of Britain’s most famous climbers, George Mallory. They wrote detailed paragraphs about his early life, his three expeditions to Everest, and the legacy he left behind. We also delved deeper into the Mallory Mystery—the children are absolutely fascinated by it!

In maths, we have been strengthening our division skills using both the partitioning method and the bus stop method. This is still a work in progress, and we’ll be moving on to remainders next week and after half term.
