Y4 Looking Back and Forth - Friday 9th January 2026
🔙 Looking Back – This Week in Year 4
Year 4 have returned brilliantly this week and settled straight back into learning. We have begun a new unit of work in English using the biography books Boys Who Dare to Be Different and Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. These fantastic texts have already inspired the children as they explore the lives of remarkable people and learn about the concept of altruism – a word we think is very cool in Year 4!
In maths, the class have been learning all about factors, products, and factor pairs. All the hard work on TTRockstars is really paying off and supporting this learning.
It is also absolutely worth celebrating that our class won the TTRockstars competition over the Christmas break – YAY! 🏆
