Friday 25th October 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 5
Looking back:
The children have really enjoyed exhibition week. There has been a real buzz around school. They have worked so hard this half-term and produced some fantastic work.
Year 5 – Pupils’ Highlights:
Here are some comments the children have made about the exhibition:
- I love the big robots in the middle of the hall.
- I liked learning about Greek inventions.
- I loved watching the drone.
- It was interesting learning about the farrier’s job.
- I enjoyed making our ancient Greek masks.
- It was nice to see all the classes work.
- I loved learning the ancient Greek dances.
- I liked watching the chef.

Looking forward:
In the first week after half-term, we will be starting a fantastic writing topic based on a really exciting picture book. In our topic work, we will be carrying on with our study of ancient Greece.

Have a practise playing your instrument. Practise getting it out in under two minutes. Have fun getting to know your instrument.
