Y6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 6th December

Y6 - Friday  6th December 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

Well, the countdown to Christmas is really stepping up with rehearsals for our concert well under way.  Our lessons continue apace too as we have enjoyed writing, reading, maths, science and lots of sewing this week, too.  It’s a busy time of year, but all our weeks our busy, so this is more of a “festive” busy – we like that.  We have also explored new ways to share reading books with a great whole class read called “The Night Gardener”.

Year 6 will be continuing with their sewing projects on Thursday 12th (between 1:00-2:00pm) and Thursday 19th (between 1:15 and 3:15pm).  If any parents or family members are free, and would like to support the children (and Mrs. Benson) with their sewing, this would be a MASSIVE help.  Either let one of the teacher know, or just join us on the days.  We’d love to see you.
