Year 2 10th May Looking Back and Forth

Friday 10th May 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

There has been a lot happening in Year 2 this week. We have been working on reading comprehension questions in English and also performing the Freaky Week poetry written last week. They are very funny! We have been using ICT to practise maths skills and have also looked at reasoning questions. The children know how important it is to read the clues carefully. We finished the music compositions of the story of The Bear and the Piano and performed as a class.

Maypole dancing has begun! The weather was against us but we were still able to practise skipping and the first part of the dance. I am hoping the sun comes out next week!

On Thursday, it was Golden Time. The children enjoyed a treat of games, colouring and DVD watching after working hard to fill the marble jar.

  • “Golden Time because it’s lots of fun”
