Year 2 Friday 5th April Looking Back and Forth

Friday 5th April 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

It’s hard to believe that we have reached the end of term 2 already! We’ve have had a fantastic week together. I am really proud of you all. The children have now finished their stories about “The Bear and the Piano” and I think we have some budding authors! We have also been exploring word classes and used dictionaries. In Maths we have been using all our knowledge to solve problems and have completed an investigation about doubling. There has been lots more including Science, RE, music, reading and plenty of outdoor exercise.

Today we said goodbye to Mrs Bagnall, who has moved to work at her children’s school. We wish her good luck. After the break, we will be supported by Mrs Hughes in the mornings. Mrs Greene will also work with us for some of the time. I am looking forward to a new term and lots more learning. Enjoy the Easter break everyone.
