Year 2 Looking Back and Forth 17th March

Friday 17th March 2023 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

In English we have planned a story, ready to write next week. Phonics focused on apostrophes for possession and understood when to use them.  In maths we focused on arithmetic skills. In Science, the children understood the differences between living, non-living and things that have never been alive. We explored our school field looking for micro-habitats. In reading we practised the skills needed to answer comprehension questions. In PE we have been active with hockey skills and Zumba. Another busy week!
