Y2 Friday 2nd October 2026– Looking Back & Forth

Looking back: 

This week in English we have completed writing our finding narratives. In maths, we have added multiples of 10 and ones on a number line and practised number bonds to 20. In science, we have discussed making healthy snack choices. We also had a great morning at Forest School and made shelters for animals.

Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:

Family discussion questions:

 

  • This week we made shelters for animals in Forest School. Talk about what a shelter needs to include. Can you make a shelter for an animal at home?

 

Looking forward:

Next week we will begin to write list poems and will continue our art work for Exhibition.

Reading books will be changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.

PE is on Fridays. Please ensure school PE kit is worn.
