Y2 Friday 27th June 2025 – Looking Back & Forth
Looking back: This week we have planned a recount, used clockwise or anticlockwise and right or left to describe turns. We also had a wonderful day when we visited the Peak Wildlife Park.
Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- My highlight was going to the Peak Wildlife Park. X25 chn
- My highlight was building bug hotels with my friends.
- My highlight was seeing a red panda.
- My highlight of the week was learning about turns. x 2 chn
- My highlight was playing football with my friends. x 7 chn
- My highlight was playing with my friends. x 14 chn
- I liked teaching people cartwheels.

Next week we will be writing recounts – discuss at home what we saw at the Peak Wildlife and what was their favourite part of the day.
Looking forward:
Next week we will be writing recounts, continuing to learn about Paul Klee and will be investigating the features of castles.
PE is on Fridays. Please ensure school PE kit is worn.
Reading books are changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.
