Family discussion questions:

This week we have discussed famous landmarks in England, for example the Lake District and Wembley Stadium. Discuss any famous geographical features you have visited as a family- are they human or physical features?

Looking forward:

Next week we will begin to write list poems and will continue our art work for Exhibition. In geography, we will learn about the geographical features of Scotland.

Reminders

Reading books will be changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.

PE is on Fridays. Please ensure school PE kit is worn.

Please continue to read every night as this underpins so much learning in Year 2. For every consecutive 14 days of reading, children will receive 10 house points and see their face on the ‘Reading Challenge Wall of Fame’. (Well done to the children who completed the challenge this week) Please record this in reading diaries so I can track their progress.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr Warhurst
