Year 4 Looking Back and Forth - 10th March 2023

Friday 10rd March– Looking Back & Forth in Year 4

Looking back:

This week, we had a wonderful trip to Delamere.  The snow was an added bonus.  The children were fantastic, looked after each other well and were very courteous and polite to the centre staff.  I am sure they came back tired, but hopefully full of stories and feeling positive about the experience.

During our time in Delamere the children; completed orienteering around the centre as well in the forest, explored a badger sett, paddled through a large stream, stream dipped and caught lots of fish, sang around a camp fire, created snow people and made hammocks in the woods.

Questions to ask at home  -

What was your favourite activity at Delamere?

What was your highlight?

What was the funniest moment?

What was your proudest moment?

Looking forward:

This week, the children will be writing up about their experiences in Delamere.  The activities the class completed are part of their science and geography work.  The class will also be continuing on with their Viking literature.

Please don’t forget the Mother's Day Shop this week.  The children will be visiting the shop at some point over the week.  So, if they have a bag and their money with them, that would be great.
