🔙 Looking Back – This Week in Year 4
It’s been another busy and exciting week in Year 4!
📖 In English, the children explored the beautiful poem about otters from The Lost Words, learning new vocabulary such as skein, ore, and holt. They investigated the structure of stanzas and began creating their own transformation poems.
➕ In maths, we wrapped up our decimals unit and started learning about shapes—focusing on half and quarter turns.

🛕 R.E.: We’ll learn about special Hindu festivals and their meanings.

- 📖 Reading – Minimum of 15 minutes daily
