Year 4 Looking Back and Forth - Friday 28th November

🔙 Looking Back – This Week in Year 4

This week, Year 4 completed their wonderful outsider narratives all about Leaf, the poor, unfortunate polar bear separated from his family and lost in an unfamiliar land. The children truly channelled their empathy, helping us feel every emotion that Leaf experienced.

When they weren’t tugging at our heartstrings, they were busy calculating area in maths—a fantastic week’s work all round!

Mrs Murdoch was also delighted with the class in P.E., especially after a wet and soggy lunchtime. To top it all off, the children filled their marble jar, so a well-earned treat will be arranged in the next week or so!

🎵 TT Rockstars: 10 minutes daily or one 20-minute session
📝 Spellings: Test on Wednesday (short, regular practice recommended)
✏️ Presentation: Pencil, blue, or black pen only — no felt tips
🔢 Times Tables: x10, x3, x9, x6 (x18 optional)

📬 All homework due Friday – children know where to hand it in.
