Year 4 we 19th October

Hi All,

Week 7 – Exhibition Week!

The children worked so hard last week, finishing off pieces of research and other bits and bobs.  Now it is time to get excited about the things to come this week.

Thank you for the offers of aid, to help prepare work for the Exhibition, as well as the volunteers who are coming in on Tuesday 11-12.

The children were not given any homework last week, because of the busy week coming up.  I am planning to give homework on Thursday, but this will not be due in until the Friday of the first week back after half term.

The children worked with Russ Meehan the spray paint artist, who created the mural on the junior playground.  He worked with us on Thursday and Friday last week.  The children enjoyed the experience and wearing face masks!  It was a definite highlight of the week.

Other highlights the children cited were; creating peace cranes with Mrs Wheatley, creating the mini biographies of Nobel Peace Prize winners, swimming and finishing off the powerpoints.
