Year 6 - Week in Review - Friday 19th October 2018
Firstly, apologies from me (Mrs. T.) that this update is a little later than usual - all "go" getting ready for the exhibition coming next week.
On Tuesday 23rd October at 1:00 - 2:00pm, Year 6 are enjoying a workshop in The Sunshine Room. If you are able to help, please contact either Mrs. Timmins or Mrs. Cooper.
In class, this week has been one of our busiest, with all of the pupils working to complete their very best works to share with you next Wednesday and Thursday. We have been busy writing, singing, painting, dancing, reading, checking, presenting, publishing, panicking (Mrs. T. & Mrs. C.) and so much more.
We are almost ready now.
The busiest week was finished with a session with Russ Meehan - the mural and graffiti artist who completed our house mural earlier in 2018. Each pupil was able to contribute to the Exhibition by either painting on a large communal mural, or by spray-painting their own poppies. What a way to end the week.

Notes for next week:
Monday 22nd October: Year 6 to visit St. Luke's Churchyard to view the War Memorial (permission required)
Wednesday 24th October: Our "Peace Exhibition 2018" opens to you all at 2:00pm
Thursday 25th October: Year 6 performance at 7:00pm (please bring a torch if you have one to add effect)
Thursday 25th October: Miss Atkins' maths homework due
Friday 26th October: Year 6 - STAY IN BED!
