Y6 – Friday 12^th September 2025 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

Our first full week in Year 6 has been amazing.  Lots of new tasks started and we are beginning to get into our Exhibition work too.  We have been looking into Stig’s cave and finding out what objects he has created from bric-a-brac that is lying around in his cave.  In maths, we’ve looked at numbers to 10,000,000 and our arithmetic lessons have begun.  Our afternoon lessons have involved timelines for history; considering the validity of scientific evidence; looking at cave art; and considering self-image and identity when looking at online safety.

We have issued a survey for our upcoming visit to Crucial Crewe on Thursday 9^th October – please ensure that this is completed as soon as possible – thank you.

Looking forward:

• We are really getting into our work for the exhibition next week and are looking forward to working with our class once again.
