Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 16th May 2025

Y6 – Friday 16th May 2025 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

Looking back:

Our pupils have enjoyed a week of various tasks that have involved lots of chats, practical tasks and chatter.  On Monday, they enjoyed artistic and creative time whilst working on various colourful designs and backgrounds; some amazing drawings of bluebells were produced; and the pupils worked with light-sensitive paper.  Tuesday saw the children enjoy working on nightlights, followed by a game of “Theseus and the Minotaur” catching game. Wednesday involved a range of optical illusions and reflections whilst Yoga and Buddhism formed the afternoon sessions with Mrs Riddell.  On Friday, we enjoyed PE with Mr Lilley; Spelling Shed first thing; and an introduction to our White Rose Bakery tasks.  Oh, and we were brilliant at a few tests too!

THANK YOU to all of our pupils and families for a calm and productive week – you were fab, Y6!
