Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 25th April 2025
Y6 – Friday 25th April 2025 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6
Looking back:
It was lovely to welcome our super class back on Tuesday after what we hope was an exciting, but also restful, break. It sounds like the children have all enjoyed their time away from the classroom but they were pleased to be back with their friends. Mrs Cowell and I visited Willersley Castle in preparation for our upcoming residential – it’s a beautiful setting: we will share more information as the time grows closer.
In class this week, we have had an interesting taster of our new, exciting book for English – although we’re not sure yet of the exact title and author. We’ve completed our work in maths around shape and have been busy drawing shapes and angles with increasing accuracy. During our afternoons, we have worked on coding lessons, enjoyed My Happy Mind sessions, played cricket, and seen our wonderful buddies.
We are really looking forward to a busy, (final!) term in Year 6.
