Year 6 - Looking Back and Forth - Friday 6th January 2023

Y6 – Friday  2023 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 6

“HAPPY NEW YEAR – 2023”

Looking back:

A very cheery “Happy New Year” to all our pupils and familes.  From everyone in the Year 6 Team, we would like to say a huge thank you to you all for your very kind cards and gifts before Christmas.  It was a lovely surprise to receive these and we are extremely grateful – again, “Thank You”.  We hope that you have all enjoyed a wonderful festive break with your families and are refreshed for a busy, and very exciting, 2023.

This week, our pupils have been busy publishing work using the laptops; fine-tuning their knowledge of measures, including imperial and metric units; researching milliners; discussing famous people who follow the Muslim faith; learning about The Great Lakes; enjoying basketball; immersing in a new text; and, of course, meeting up with our Buddies again.

This week, the pupils have received their updated assessment scores – do keep an eye out for an upcoming meeting about the assessment process that your child will experience this year.

Here’s to a cracking 2023 for Year 6 and families.
