Yr 4 Looking Back and Forth - Friday 17th April 2026

🔙 Looking Back – This Week in Year 4

The class have begun an exciting new book in English. The children loved predicting what might happen and showed great imagination when creating poems about the main character, Jub—a girl with an impressive talent for climbing trees.

In maths, we’ve been focusing on fractions, including understanding whole numbers, partitioning fractions, and counting beyond 1 using fractions.

During guided reading, we started a new book, The Lost Words, a beautifully illustrated text that has already captured the children’s interest.
