Yr 4 Looking Back and Forth - Friday 22nd May 2026
🔙 Looking Back – This Week in Year 4
This week, Year 4 have worked incredibly hard on writing their own twisted narratives. They have also published their fantastic poetry work.
In Maths, we have been converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and vice versa, as well as subtracting fractions.
The class were absolutely awesome in P.E. and earned 10 marbles from Mrs Murdock — a fantastic achievement!
Year 4 were also brilliant during Sports Day, throwing themselves wholeheartedly into every event. It was lovely to see the children encouraging and congratulating one another on their achievements. Moments like these make us exceptionally proud to be their teachers.
Next half term is going to be very busy — we think it will fly by!
During the first two weeks back, the children will complete the MTC (Multiplication Tables Check). The half-term competition will be a great opportunity for some extra practice.
Please remember that school is closed on Monday. Children will return to school on Tuesday after half-term.
