- We started to look at our first English text 'Paper Planes' and explored the den that the children had left behind in our classroom!
- We sorted objects in maths by colour, shape and size.
- We practised counting objects using 1-1 correspondence.
- In phonics we revisited phase 3 sounds including ai, ee, igh and oa.
- We learnt about the parts of our body in science.
Children's highlights:
- I enjoyed playing with the magnetic tiles.
- I liked using the cotton buds to paint pictures.
- I loved the new Gruffalo Granny story!
- I liked threading beads to make patterns.
- I liked sorting objects into hoops in maths.
Looking forward:
- Next week we have a Forest School session on Monday afternoon!
