We have had a lovely last week of term.
Looking back:
- We wrote our own detective narratives in English. We worked so hard!
- We completed our place value within 50 unit in maths.
- We learnt about mammals, amphibians and reptiles in science.
- We started to look at Neil Armstrong.
HIghlights:
- We enjoyed making cards for Easter using collage and water colour paints.
- We enjoyed learning about different groups of animals in science.
- We used beautiful handwriting in our English writing.
Looking forward:
- After Easter, we will start our new story in English: Where The Wild Things Are.
- We will learn about length in maths and start to measure objects in our classroom.
- We will start to look at drawing in art.
- We will continue our science and history topics from last term.
Questions to ask at home:
- How do you know that an animal is a mammal?
- What is an adverb of time?
- Who is Neil Armstrong and what was he famous for?
Have a lovely Easter everyone!
