The Great Egg Challenge

Class: Year 6 Year: 2013 - 2014

To end our unit on Forces In Action the children to use their understanding of Forces (and their wit and guile!!!) to create a eggxcellent parachute to launch an egg from the classroom window to the floor below!

The launching will be my responsibility (Mrs Cool Under Pressure Cowell), but recording events as they unfold will be the children's and and Eggxited Mr Thompson.

After learning a few areodynamic lessons from the Great Helicopter Challenge, Year 6 made modifications the A Team would have been proud of.

Here is a few photos of the work in progress, testing will be next week after 10 mins 'tweaking time'.

Ipads and Excel will be used to record the results, we hope the results are clear and not scrambled..
